Specialized Service In-Home Services focuses on developing life skills including meal preparation, housekeeping and personal hygiene. Habilitation Instructors can also assist with money
management, transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping and others tasks. For individuals needing In-Home support on a more frequent basis, the
Individual Service Environment program offers more residential-like services in the consumer's own home. For more information call 877-3840. Respite Care
offers caregivers temporary relief from their caregiver responsibilities. Staff will come to the consumer's home to provide supervision and assistance, giving the
primary caregiver an opportunity to run errands, spend time with other family members or simply enjoy some personal time. For more information call 883-8888, ext. 144.
Project COACH
(Community Outreach And Crisis Hotline) is an after-hours hotline available
to individuals with developmental disabilities and their family members. This crisis hotline offers counseling, referrals, linkage, advocacy and crisis intervention. COACH Check offers
telephone-based assurance, as staff and volunteers call routinely to check on consumers' physical and mental well-being. For more information call 877-1111, ext. 20.
