The Supported Employment Program helps individuals with developmental disabilities find and maintain meaningful employment through job placement, job training and on-going support.

Job Developers assist individuals in finding a job that is the right match for their skills and job preference. The Job Developer accompanies the individual to job interviews, helps in filling out applications and serves as their advocate. Once an individual is hired, a Job Coach provides direct support by offering intensive, on-the-job training. The Job Coach will work alongside them until a satisfactory work level is achieved and maintained. Then, the Job Coach will provide Follow-Along Service, monitoring the individual's success on a bi-monthly basis. Follow-Along Services continue as long as additional support is needed.

The Supported Employment Program also offers employment opportunities through the Mobile Work Crew . Mobile Work Crews are contracted by area businesses to perform a variety of services. A Job Coach provides job training and on-going support. For more information call 896-2180 ext. 136.
